We stock a wide selection of quadrature (I/Q) modulators and demodulators, image-reject mixers, and single-sideband modulators. Based on patented circuit designs, our specialty mixers provide unique performance advantages in a wide range of applications. Our products are critical elements in wireless communications systems, radar/EW, test instrumentation, and scientific R&D. Environments range from laboratory use to Hi-Rel military. Image-Reject Mixers – Downconvert the desired RF sideband while rejecting the unwanted image frequencies. In-stock IRM series mixers cover 500 MHz to 11 GHz. Quadrature Demodulators – Directly convert an RF input to differential I and Q baseband outputs. In-stock QD series quadrature demodulators operate from 500 MHz to 7 GHz. Quadrature Modulators – Optimized for direct modulation of an RF carrier. Differential I and Q inputs are mixed with the LO input to produce a modulated RF output. In-stock QM series quadrature modulators are available from 500 MHz to 7 GHz. Single-Sideband Modulators – Upconvert an IF input to the desired RF sideband while the unwanted RF sideband is internally suppressed. In-stock SSB series single-sideband modulators cover frequencies from 500 MHz to 11 GHz. Caseless Mixers – May be directly mounted to a customer’s RF mainboard via SMP push-on connectors. All standard mixers are available in caseless configurations. Multi-Channel Assemblies – For receivers and transmitters with multiple-channels, contact Polyphase Microwave for custom assemblies.
